14 Days Mount Everest base camp Trek

Everest Base Camp trekking is the mother of all the trekking in Nepal. In less than fortnight of time you will witness the great Sherpa Culture along with the views of majestic Mount Everest Range in Khumbu region of Nepal. The trekking trails takes you to Namche Bazaar, the capital of famous Sherpa community, Tengboche (famous for monasteries) where your spiritual soul will get revitalized and the gorgeous Everest Base Camp from where you will see the Mt. Everest from its foothill. The tale of summit, sacrifice, hardship and perseverance can be shared with the climbers. Overall, the trek to Everest would be your most daring and adventurous memory tale of your life to be shared for generations to come.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu check in Hotel, Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel (1,350m/4,428ft)

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Kathmandu (1320m) Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Upon arrival at the airport, you would be received by our representative and then transfer to hotel.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 40 minutes flight; 8km, 3 - 4 hours trek

Stop At: Lukla, Lukla, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and then to Phakding (2640m.) We take early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.). Upon arrival at Lukla, Then start trek, we reach Phakding.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 - 6 hours

Stop At: Main Street, Namche Bazaar 56002 Nepal
Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m.) Having breakfast at Phakding, we commence our trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.).
Duration: 6 hours

Day 4: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)

Stop At: Main Street, Namche Bazaar 56002 Nepal
Acclimatization at Namche Bazzar We take rest at Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) for acclimatization. It is considered as an ideal place for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading towards Tyangboche.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5- 6 hours

Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.) Taking breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we would be heading towards Tyangboche (3867 m.)
Duration: 6 hours

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 9km, 5 - 6 hours

Stop At: Dingboche View Point, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260 m.) We trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260 m.). We finally come to Dingboche.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 7: Acclimatization at Dingboche (4260 m.)

Stop At: Dingboche Village, Dingboche - Chhukhung Path 7, Dingboche 56000, Nepal
Acclimatization at Dingboche (4260 m.) Today too, we acclimatize at Dingboche (4260 m.) we come back to Dingboche and take rest.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m.)

Stop At: Lobuche, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m.) We would have lunch at Dugla (4595m) and trek to Lobuche

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft): 13km, 6-7 hours

Stop At: Gorakshep Viewpoint, Kala Pattar Ascent Trail, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5364m.) Having breakfast at Lobuche, we trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep (5140m.). It is the most rewarding section of the trek. Our trail winds up through rocky path and Khumbu glacier. Visit Everest Base Camp and come back to Gorakshep.

Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Pherice (4,288m/14,070ft): 16km, 7-8 hours

Stop At: Kala Pattar, 44600 Nepal
Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and then to Pheriche (4243m.) We trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4243m.).
Duration: 6 hours

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 20km, 6 - 7 hours

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) It is our turn to trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m ). we come to Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 - 7 hours

Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.) Having breakfast in the tea house at Namche Bazaar, we trek to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, we would get refreshed and take rest.

Day 13: We board our early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at TIA, we would be received and transfer to hotel.
