From there, you will travel to the ancient, sacred city of Anuradhapura, one of the most historic locations in all of Sri Lanka, with a rich and fascinating history dating back to the 10th Century AD. Climb the Mihintale Rock, a significant landmark in the Buddhist world and the birthplace of the Buddhist philosophy in Sri Lanka, many centuries ago.
