Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhadou - Zagora

Stop At: Zagora Desert Camp, Imarighine Errouha, Zagora 47900, Morocco
On your way to the south direction from Marrakech, cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tichka pass (2,260 meters). Made of zigzag roads, the route allows you to enjoy beautiful views of the Berber villages scattered along the valley.

You will stop to explore one of the best fortified preserved villages in the South of the country (Ait Benhadou) . It was built by the 15th century for caravan dealers traveling from Tombuktu to Marrakech and Tangiers.

This site has served as a natural backdrop for popular international movies such as Gladiator, Game of thrones,Lawrence of Arabia and others. Enjoy a guided tour to the top of the hill that dominates the entire area.

You will also have lunch here before continuing through Ouarzazate, Agdez and the Draa Valley to reach Zagora.

This is where your camel route begins. Enjoy the sunset accompanying your journey to the Camp. Enjoy your delicious dinner with local music entertainment by your camel guides under the stars and spend the night in your private tent.

Day 2: Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
On this second day, get up early so you do not miss the incredible sunrise if the weather allows followed by shower and breakfast. Also take advantage of the option of a camel trek back to meet your driver by the road.

The return route will take you along the Drâa Valley and will be punctuated by stops to enjoy the panorama and lunch. Finally, you will be back in Marrakech after passing through Ouarzazate.
