Stop At: Lago Sandoval, Tambopata National Reserve Peru

Lake Sandoval is a full day trip. Starting from one hour walk through the jungle observing the nature and wid life such as monkyes, macaws, agutis, birds following with a canoe ride at the lake searching for black caimans, turtles,giant otters, monkeys, birds such as osprey, hoatzin and heron. During your stay you Will visit as well a lodge at the lake where you Will enjoy lunch with a beautiful lake view.

Stop At: Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick, Tambopata National Reserve 17500 Peru

Chuncho is the worlds largest clay lick. It is pretty far away from town so you Will have to wake up early to get there on time. We wil pick you up at 3 amand about 2 hours you Will arrive at the destination. At this clay lick you can observe the largest macaws such as the blue and yellow macaw, scarlet macaw … You Will learn all about their life style and habits and why are they coming to this clay. You willget incredibly close to them to be able to take wonderful unforgetabe pictures.Its an amazing experience and its definately worth it to wake up early.
