2 Days 1 Night Jungle Trek - Bukit Lawang Tour

As we grew up in the area, we have excellent knowledge about the jungle and the animals who live in the Gunung Leuser National Park. You will get the chance to see some rare species of animals including the orangutan. Besides the beauty of the jungle we offer some extreme fun as well by tubing the river as the final part of your jungle trek. We will fully guide you on your jungle trek to make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day One

Stop At: Gunung Leuser National Park, Gunung Leuser National Park, North Sumatra, Sumatra
Pick up at your accommodation in Bukit Lawang at 9:00 am.

You will be hiking for around 5-6 hours. Exploring the jungle, with explanations from your guide about the area, the plants and the animals you will encounter. Plenty of opportunity for taking pictures.

If you are lucky you will be able to see Orangutans, Macaques, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys and Hornbills.

A lunch stop and snacks are included.

In the late afternoon we will arrive at the campsite located near the river, where you can swim, relax and get some refreshment.

In the evening we will have dinner and sit together, play games or make music.

Day 2: Day Two

Stop At: Gunung Leuser National Park, Gunung Leuser National Park, North Sumatra, Sumatra
On day two we start with a good breakfast with tea or coffee by the river.

We will go on a shorter hike and visit a waterfall. You will have the opportunity again to encounter some of the rare animals living in the National Park

A lunch stop is included.

After lunch you will have great fun as we travel back to the village of Bukit Lawang via tubing the river.
