Those with time to spend a night are given the opportunity to see firsthand the daily life of a Berber home—especially the importance of meals and food in Berber culture. There is ample time to make some personal connections with those you'll meet. 

With two days trip from Marrakech, you also receive an excellent survey of the High Atlas mountains and the geography surrounding the Berber villages you visit.

Itinerary

Day 1: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech at 9am, drive for one hour up to Moulay Brahim Gorges, arriving at a main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions, here you can ride the Camel, then continuing to Imlil valley passing through many Berber villages. From Imlil, leave the vehicle to head into the village. You will stop for a welcome glass of mint tea before continuing up to your Riad, Free after non, you go out to explore the villages and possibly to visit some Berber homes, you will stay the night in a traditional family Riad, included Dinner and Breakfast

Day 2: Trek for 1 hour to the waterfalls of Imlil, passing the hamlets of Ait mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Stop off in Tamatert. Enjoy lunch with the family in a Berber home, and marvel at the view of ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Continue for another 30 minutes to arrive at the home of a Berber family have mint tea with the family and see how the Berbers live. Walk down to Azroul and visit the Kasbah, then begin your return trip down the other side of the valley our driver will pick you up to visit Kik plateau before we drive back to Marrakech passing from Lac Lala takerkoust.
