Itinerary

Day 1: The Adventure Starts!

Stop At: Quito Old Town, Quito Ecuador
Your certified tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 08h00.
Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve, Mindo Ecuador
We will drive towards the northwest where the “Mindo - Nambillo Ecological Reserve” is. It has primary forests in most of its surface. Inside this reserve a natural complex of 15 waterfalls is located! Each one of these waterfalls have different height and beauty. We take a cable car that runs a 530 meter long cable to go to the other side of the mountain, once over there we will walk about two hours through the reserve, visiting the following waterfalls: “Ondina”, “Guarumos”, “Colibríes”, “Madre”, “Los Maderos” and “Nambillo”, in any of these we can have a relaxing soak! Your guided activities will lead you to the exotic flora and fauna of the cloud forest.

Stop At: Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve, Mindo Ecuador
We will have time for lunch and we will immediately drive down the road to visit the fascinating Mindo River, for a tubing tour in its clear waters! We will stay at our Lodge, located on a privileged site that has a really spectacular view!

Day 2: The Adventure Continue!

Stop At: Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve, Mindo Ecuador
After breakfast we will have time to take beautiful pictures of some of the 500 bird species that this region has such as: toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds, etc. Also, we will enjoy the beautiful facilities of the lodge.

Stop At: Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve, Mindo Ecuador
At 11h00 your tour guide will take you up to the mountains that are part of the western flanks of the Andes, for a spectacular zip-line tour involving 8 cable rides. This tour takes at least one and a half hours through several mountains with subtropical rainforests! From the cable rides we can appreciate the wonderful view of the valley of Mindo and its surrounding areas.

Stop At: Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve, Mindo Ecuador
On the way back to Quito, we stop in the village of Mindo for lunch and also to enjoy the company of its friendly people. Approximately at 17h00 you will be back in your hotel.
