Itinerary

Day 1: Former soviet industrial town of Rustavi and off road drive to David Gareja Monastery

Pass By: Rustavi, Rustavi, Kvemo Kartli Region
Rustavi was biggest industrial town of soviet times, we will discover number of abandoned factories there

Stop At: David Gareja Monastery, Mount Gareja, Udabno Georgia
Visit to 6th century monastery founded by the monk David Garejeli, from Rustavi we will take the offload towards the complex
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, Signagi Georgia
9th century basilica type church, the place is considered as sacred place as here is buried St.Nino, the person who brought christianity in the country in 4th century
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Sighnaghi, Sighnaghi, Kakheti Region
Also known as town of Love, we will explore narrow cobblestone streets and the wall of Sighnaghi
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cradle of Wine Marani Winery, Baratashvili Street 41, Signagi 4200 Georgia
We will visit Cradle of Wine or Okro's winery, both of these companies produce 100% natural/organic wines
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 2: Wine Tasting Day, visit to different wineries

Stop At: Tunnel Winery Khareba's, Meurneoba District Kakheti, Kvareli 383320 Georgia
Visit to Winery Khareba to sample wines made according to traditional Georgian technology, thus fermented in Qvevri (underground clay vessels), tasting area is located in former soviet underground bomb shelter. After sampling the wines, masterclass of preparation of Churchkhela will be offered

Visit to family winery for wine tastings and delicious lunch
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Kondoli, Kondoli, Kakheti Region
100% organic winery at Giorgi Gvardzelashvili's wine cellar, here we will taste 3 different types of wine and Chacha (Georgian strong alcoholic beverage - grape vodka)
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pass By: Gombori Pass, Gombori-Telavi Rd, Telavi Georgia
Back to Tbilisi via Gombori pass through breathtaking mountainous landscapes, we will reach the altitude of 1,620mt above the sea level
