Situated in the largest conservation area in Africa, Sossusvlei is possibly Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attraction. Characterised by the large red dunes that surround it, Sossusvlei is a large, white, salt and clay pan and is a great destination all year round. The dunes in this area are some of the highest in the world, reaching almost 400 meters, and provide photographic enthusiasts with wonderful images in the beautiful morning and evening light.

Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek to Sesriem

Stop At: Solitaire, Solitaire, Khomas Region
Stop at Solitaire for lunch break (own account), craft shop and photo shooting.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Sesriem, Namibia
Visit small canyon which is carved by Tsauchab river through the 15 million years.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Elim Dunes, GQX9+8RJ, Sesriem, Namibia
You will see the beautiful sunset at Elim dunes.
Duration: 1 hour

Meals included:
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Overnight at Sesriem campsite

Day 2: Full excursion at Sesriem and return to Windhoek

Pass By: Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
Wake up as early as possible to see the sunrise at Deadvlei.


Stop At: Dune 45, 45 kilometers From the Park Entrance Gate, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
Climb the dunes (85m high) to see panoramic view.
Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Windhoek, Windhoek, Khomas Region
Return back to Windhoek
