Day 1: Arrival at Amman Airport (D)

Meet a driver at Amman's Queen Alia International Airport for transfer to a hotel in Amman. Overnight in Amman. 

Day 2: Amman - Dead Sea – Wadi Rum - Petra (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the Dead Sea, which sits 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level. You'll have free time to float and swim at the Dead Sea Resthouse, then it's off to Wadi Rum, a desert mountain that's been a film site for Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. Board a 4x4 vehicle for a classic tour of Wadi Rum's sand and towering cliffs in brown, red, and gold, then continue to Petra for dinner. Overnight in Petra. 

Day 3: Petra - Departure from Amman (B)

After breakfast, visit Petra, an ancient Nabatean city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk the “siq,” a narrow, .75-mile (1.2-km) path that's the main entrance to the city. At the end of the siq, you will see Petra's highlights, including the Treasury, the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. Following your time at Petra, transfer to Amman's Queen Alia International Airport for an evening departure.
