Itinerary

Day 1: Chongqing-Leshan-Giant Sitting Buddha-E meishan City (353 km / total driving 5 hours)

Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China
We pick up travelers at Chongqing hotel then get started a 4 hours driving to Leshan City. Our first stop will be the Giant Buddha.

This Giant Sitting Buddha was built in Tang Dynasty. It's 235 feet tall, manauly carved on a giant vertical cliff by a river, overwatching Leshan town across river for over 1200 years. All residents live in Leshan Town may view this buddha, worship him and take his holy blessing everyday..

We'll explore around, visit a temple and the Giant Buddha.

Stop At: Emeishan, Emeishan, Sichuan
Then we drive 45 min to E meishan city. This city located nearby E mei Mountain, a Buddhism holy montain, also our nxet day's attraction.

We'll check in our hotel and get our dinner in town. We would like to recommend local mountain food.
Duration: 2 minutes

• Dinner: In E meishan City.

Day 2: E mei Mountain Jinding-Giant Golden Buddha-Baoguo Temple (100 km / total 3 hours driving)

Stop At: E'meishan Jinding Scenic Resort, Within E'mei Mountain, Emeishan 614200 China
In the morning we get to tourist center transfer to local shuttle bus which is mandarory for travelers' safety. After 2 hours bus ride we once again need to transfer to a cable way, afterwards we finally get to Jinding-the very top of E mei mountain, where the famous golden Buddha located.

The altitude here is over 10'000 feet, in case of potential altitude reaction please be precautionary, do not make any sudden move.

Here's a critical holy site for all Chinese Buddhists with over 2000 year history, we'll explore around enjoy the amazing mountain view, learn Chinese Buddhism culture and have fun around.

Then we get back to shuttle bus, take another 1 hour ride to Wannian Temple. We'll get our lunch there.

Stop At: Baoguo Temple, The foot of Emei Mountain, Emeishan 614200 China
After lunch we drive back to tourist center, then take a tour at Baoguo Temple, we'll spend a relaxed afternoon there.

Here's a more than famous Buddhism temple in E mei mountain with a long long history, it's now a must go site for all Buddhists all over the world. A music video of Kungfu Panda was filmed here, allegedly it's also the birth place of E mei Kungfu.

This temple also was a military officer training school in WWII.

Stop At: Emeishan, Emeishan, Sichuan
After dinner in town we once again get back to our hotel in E meishan city.
Duration: 1 hour

• Lunch: In Wan nian Temple parking lot or somewhere else on our way.
• Dinner: In E meishan City, local special flavor will be expected.
Accommodation included: Sunshine Express Hotel (4 star) or equivalence.

Day 3: E meishan-Chongqing (305 km / total 4 hours driving)

Stop At: Jiefangbei Square, Junction of Mingzu Road, Mingquan Road and Zourong Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing 400000 China
We check out our hotel in the morning then drive all the way back to Chongqing, 300 km 4 hours approximately.

Upon arrival in Chongqing we'll deliver our travelers to their hotel or any other specified location.
