Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square kilometres. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert it opened in April 1948, and is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta County of the former Coast Province

Itinerary

Day 1: DIANI/MOMBASA/NORTH COAST - TSAVO EAST

Stop At: Tsavo East, Voi Mageso Chember, Tsavo National Park East 00200 Kenya
Pick up from the hotel at around 06:00 am driving along Mombasa – Nairobi highway for 155 Kms.Stop at Lion Hill for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Tsavo East. You will enter the park and start your evening game drive en route to Voi safari lodge. This is the chance to see wild animals such as Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, Cheetah, and Giraffe among others. Proceed with the game drive en route to the Voi safari Lodge where you will check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: TSAVO EAST- MOMBASA/ DIANI/ NORTH COAST

Stop At: Tsavo East, Voi Mageso Chember, Tsavo National Park East 00200 Kenya
This day is an extra ordinary, wake up at 6.00 Am and have a cup of tea/ coffee. Proceed to the morning game drive until 9.30 Am. Come back for a full breakfast and check out of the lodge as you do your last game drive back to Diani.
