Wulong Karst Geographic National Park was the second tour attraction inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO in Chongqing, the first one is Dazu Rock Carvings which mostly dedicates the cultural and historic side of Chongqing. This National park pretty much represents the natural side of this enormous city in western China. After Transformer IV was filmed in here, it's now becoming a super hot spot and the very first must go site in Chongqing.

Stop At: Wulong Karst geological park, Furong River Bank, Jiangkou Town, Wulong County 408506 China

Get started from downtown Chongqing at 0730, that would helps to avoid rush hour and buy us more excursion time. After 3 hours driving we'll pull over in highway rest area and take a brunch, then drive to the tourist reception.

Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here.

After a 20 min bus ride we get to our first stop-a glass balcony on cliff top of the natural born triple bridge, where you may enjoy a whole view of this giant sink hole geographic miracul.

Afterwords we walk to our primary site-natural born triple bridge.

The admission fare for both Wulong Geological National Park and the interior shuttle bus is 125 yuan per adult, the glass balcony is 25 yuan per adult.

Stop At: Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges, Junction of Baiguo Town and Hetao Town, Wulong County 408500 China

Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actualy a giant valley through 3 mountains
with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges.

We firstly will take an 80 meters high cliff side viewing elevator all the way down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape.

The hiking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

Drive all the way back home.

The ride from Wulong National Park to downtown Chongqing takes 3 hours one way, excursion on two sites requies 3 hours, thus we suggest travelers to take an early simple lunch in highway rest area for a smoothier experience inside Wulong National Park.
