3 Day Discovery of Angkor Wat & Kulen National Park

A spectacularly carved riverbed, Phnom Kulen mountain is set deep in the jungle to the northeast of Angkor. This tour is designed to bring our customers to all the fabulous temples in Angkor Park, beautiful waterfalls, local market, village schools & Tonle Sap Lake with its floating villages.

Itinerary

Day 1: Small Tour & Sunset

Stop At: Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
We should depart at 8:00 AM from your hotel lobby. Before taking you to the Angkor Archaeological Park, we will take you to buy the Angkor pass first and drive you to the last ancient capital city of the Khmer Empire named as Angkor Thom (Gigantic city) to visit beautiful stone temples such as BAYON (temple with many smiling faces), Terrace of Elephant, Royal Palace area, Terrace of Leper King and Baphoun (It is considered as largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom ). We will have lunch at a local restaurant opposite the Angkor Wat temple.

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
After enjoying your lunch, we continue to explore the most spectacular Angkor Wat temple. If you prefer to watch sunset, the best spot is Phnom Bakheng hill and we should arrive at the mountain before 3:00 PM.

Day 2: Kulen National Park & Banteay Srei Temple (The Pink Yellow Sandstone temple)

Stop At: Phnom Kulen National Park, Cambodia
You can enjoy your breakfast before we start our journey from your hotel at 8:00 am to Kulen National Park. We will bring you to see huge reclining Buddha stone statue that was built in the 16th century, the largest waterfall in Cambodia and a river of a thousand Shiva lingas. (It is considered as a holy river for Khmer people).

Stop At: Banteay Srei, Siem Reap Cambodia
We will stop on the way for lunch before we go to the red sandstone temple, Banteay Srei (Citadel of women), Tonle Sap Lake and Floating village. We will pass by many remote villages. We can stop if you want to take some photos of local people.

Day 3: Sunrise & Grand Tour

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
Please ask your hotel’s staff to pack a takeaway breakfast and we will pick you up at 4:40 AM for the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple. In order to avoid the crowd, we will start to visit Ta Prom known as ‘’Tomb raider temple” early and continue with other temples like Preah Khan (Father temple), Neak Pean Tasom (Tree’s temple), East Mebon (10th century brick temple) and Pre Rup known as temple royal crematorium. We will eat at a local restaurant in front of the lake names Sras Srang means royal swimming pool. Our third day temple tour will end around 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM as we started early.
