Enjoy the beauty of Namibia Desert, Sun rise and Sunset in the Dunes of Namibia. After a good rainy season about every 7 to 10 years – the Tsauchab River runs in full flood and fills the Vlei with water. For months it remains here and offers a sensational scenery with a prolific bird life.
Itinerary
Day 1: Sesriem
Pass By: Sesriem, Sesriem, Hardap Region
The route leads along and also across the Tsauchab dry riverbed, which has found a way through the dunes until it reaches the clay pan – the Sossusvlei

Day 2: dune 45
Pass By: Dune 45, 45 kilometers From the Park Entrance Gate, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
Climb one of the dunes – there are plenty – and you might be overwhelmed by the sight of the dynamic and living desert! Breakfast will be served in form of a picnic under one of the shady camel thorn trees, before you continue to the base of the ‘Dead Vlei'

Day 3: namibia desert
Pass By: Namib Desert, Namibia
Namibia Desert9:00 Departure (during Namibia’s wintertime – departure from the lodge / camp at 08:00) and return to Windhoek via the Remhoogte Pass, which boasts with a variety of vegetation (it is possible – to return via Spreetshoogte Pass – depending on weather and road conditions) and arrive at around 12:30.
