3 Day Private camping Safari in Serengeti National Park

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha Town to Western Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
• 6-6.30 am Early breakfast in Arusha Tourist Inn .
• 7.00 am you’ll be picked up and start 4 to 5 hours drive game enroute via Ngorongoro Crater heading to Southern Serengeti.
• You’ll have (3-4hours) half day- game drive(four wheel pop-up safari jeep) in Western Serengeti
• Lunch at picnic site at 1.00 pm.
• At the evening 6.00 pm you’ll head to seronera campsite and enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Western Corridor contains the swampy wooded land, dense underground forest with a black cotton soil which does sparse in heavy rain. Hence home for yellow and olive Baboons, Patas Monkeys, Black and White Colobus of all kind climbing here and there. The Zone is allocated with a Grumeti and Mbalageti Rivers which drains their water to Lake Victoria hence filled with a lot of Crocodiles, Hippopotamus, Martial Eagles and varieties of 400birds species has been documented. Migration now at this year seems to be concentrated at Western so you may witness the real action between the Wildebeest and dangerous Nile Crocodiles.

Day 2: Serengeti(South) to Serengeti(Western Corridor)

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
.30 am Early light breakfast in seronera campsite.
• 6.00 am you’ll be picked up and start early game drive in Western heading to Central Serengeti.
• 10.00 am Heavy breakfast at campsite.
• Lunch at picnic site at 1.00 pm.
• You’ll have not less than 6 hours game-drive(four wheel pop-up safari jeep) in Serengeti.
• At the evening 6.00 pm you’ll head to seronera campsite and enjoy your dinner and overnight.

In Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley) there is dotted acacia vegetation which appears in a group like structure known as Kopjes which provides a good vantage for predators spot their prey and a refuge for Hyrax, Pythons and reptiles such as lizards. African Leopard are commonly seen.

Day 3: southern serengeti to Arusha Town

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
• 5.30 am Early light breakfast in seronera campsite
• 6.00 am you’ll be picked up and start early game drive Southern Serengeti.
• 10.00 am Heavy breakfast at campsite.
• Lunch at picnic site at 1.00 pm.
• You’ll have not less than 6 hours game-drive(four wheel pop-up safari jeep) in Serengeti.
• At 14.00 pm you’ll start exiting Serengeti heading to Arusha Town.
• Dinner and overnight at Arusha Tourist Inn.

Southern/Central/Seronera Valley; Maasai called it “Serengit” meaning the land of endless plains. Southern Zone has an endless plain accumulated with savannah grassland which provide the wide area throughout the year for the wildlife such as Wildebeest, Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, waterbuck, Grant’s and Thomson Gazelle, Impalla, to graze.
