3 Days Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana

Shipungo Safari & Tours offers you a 3 Days trip into the vast lands of Central Kalahari Game Reserve. It is the largest, most remotely situated reserve in Southern Africa, and the second largest wildlife reserve in the world, encompassing 52 800 square kilometers. The landscape is dominated by silver terminalia sandveld, Kalahari sand acacias and Kalahari apple leaf, interspersed with grasslands and dotted with occasional sand dunes, pans and shallow fossil rivers valley. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED

3 game drive, witness wildebeest and giraffes, service of a professional tour guide, daily meals and drinking water, 2 nights accomodation, all park entrance fees, airport transfers.

During this safari, you will be staying in tented camps for two nights. Accomodation is in 3*3 meter tents with comfortable bedroll and linen. You are provided with bush shower and toilet. You are provided with a bush shower and toilet.

Itinerary

Day 1: MAUN-CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE

Pass By: Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Ghanzi District
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge and do short brief about the trip. Then depart to Central Kalahari Game reserve using safari vehicle wheel drive. Upon your arrival, staff will set up the camp, then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, lunch will be served and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea then engage in your afternoon game drive within the park. Immediately after the activity you will go back to the camp were you will be allowed to have shower. Dinner will be served and the time for bed will be determined by last guest.

Meals included:
• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit. 3lts of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main desert and couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable fully made bedrolls on stretcher.

Day 2: CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE

Pass By: Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Ghanzi District
Wake up early in the morning, have quick shower, breakfast will be served well in time. Immediately after breakfast you will engage in a morning game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. Your lunch will be served well in time and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive activity within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon activity, enjoy fresh water and then dinner will be served.

• Breakfast: Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea and coffee.

Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage and toast.

• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit and 3lts of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main desert and couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable fully made bedrolls on stretchers.

Day 3: Central Kalahari Game Reserve-Maun

Pass By: Maun, Maun, Ngamiland East, North-West District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then go for a short game drive within the park while the staff breaks down the camp before coming back to Maun where your safari will end.

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea and coffee.

Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage and toast.

• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit and 3lts of bottled water per person per day.
Accommodation included: We will drop clients in a Hotel of their choice in Maun
