Day 1: Palermo - Walking Tour

Meet your Guide after breakfast and start a GUIDED WALKING TOUR (3h) in Palermo: the culture of the city, the beautiful sights, architecture and the typical street markets, are hidden in the old part of town. Palermo is a many faceted city, with as much an unmistakable as enigmatic identity, a combination of aristocratic magnificence and the colourful ways of the common people. Visit the highlights of the Arab Norman Period, Palatine Chapel inside the Royal Palace, the Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria, the Cathedral plus a typical market and more. Overight in Palermo

Day 2: Selinunte, Olive Farm & Winery

Stop At: Parco Archeologico Selinunte, Via Selinunte, 91022 Marinella di Selinunte, Castelvetrano, Sicily Italy
Meet your Guide and drive towards the archeological park of SELINUNTE, among the most evocative places in Sicily. Also one of the most impressive of all Greek sites, never having been built over in modern times. In the 5th Century BC it was second only to Syracuse. The archeological site includes several temples, part of the excavated ancient city, amazing ruins more than 2500 years old and a beautiful landscape.

Included visit of an Organic Olive Farm, local producer in the Belice Valley. The prestigious "Nocellara del Belice" olive variety has been grown here for centuries. An unrepeatable combination of the local soil and microclimate gives origin to DOP certified table olives and extra-virgin olive oil.

Possibility to visit a renowned WINERY (Optional) which is embedded in a charming and unique context. The island is renowned for the many outstanding wines, some of them produced in this area (south of Palermo) which is famous for a great wine and olive oil production. During the Wine Tasting session you'll get familiar with the local grapes. Back in Palermo in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Segesta & Erice

Stop At: Parco Archeologico, Contrada Barbaro SNC, 91013 Calatafimi-Segesta, Sicily Italy
Together with your Guide this morning is dedicated to the archeological area of SEGESTA. Temple and Theater from the 5th century BC are embedded within a wonderful landscape. The high-stepped, semicircular theatre opens onto a breathtaking panorama over the surrounding countryside with the sea in the distance.

Stop At: Castello di Venere, Largo Castello, 91016, Erice, Sicily Italy
Continue to ERICE, just about 2400 feet above sea level, cool even in a hot Sicilian summer, offers on clear days magnificent views. It is not just the views, however that brings people here since the quaint cobblestone streets have their own appeal. Back in Palermo in the late afternoon.
