3 Days Gorilla Trekking Expedition Uganda

This 3-day gorilla trek safari takes you to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is home to more than half the population of the remaining 720 Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, a scenic allure of stunning hills and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates. The gorilla trek activity is the most enchanting experience in this forest. You will have an experience of a life time watching at close range these majestic apes as they feed, play and relax.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenentrable Forest National Park

Stop At: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
You will be picked up a from hotel/ airport and bring you to Bwindi Forest National Park. This is a 5 hours drive from Kigali and 9 hours’ drive from Kampala. Along the way you will see the attractive sceneries that will live in wonders.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking And Batwa Cultural Tour

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Buhoma Uganda
Upon rising, enjoy breakfast and later report to the Park head offices at 7:00 AM for a pre-trekking briefing on the code of conduct while tracking for the magnificent creatures. This lasts between 2 – 7 hours to locate the giants; have an hour with them and after this encounter, return to the starting point for certificate of participation before driving to your lodge. Have lunch and in the afternoon, proceed for a guided cultural tour to the Batwa Pygmies and learn more about their daily practices. Dine and rest at your lodge .

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala/ Kigali

Stop At: Kampala Fair, 25 Bukoto Street (next to Alliance Française), Kampala Uganda
