3 Days Murchison Falls - Budget

The 3 Days Murchison safari will take you to the north western Uganda (311 km from Kampala) which Is the largest National Park in the country, gifted with the Big five with Rhinos existing in the adjacent Ziwa Sanctuary along with other wild game like the big Five - Lions, Elephants, buffalo, Rhinos and Hippopotamus , aquatics like Nile Crocodiles and Hippos.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kampla - Murchison

Stop At: Rhino Fund Uganda ( Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary), Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
Your guide will meet you at your hotel, guest house or lodge. And you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National with a stop over at Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary for tracking the Rhinos, see how the feed, nest etc. continue Murchison falls reaching the park in late in the afternoon.

Day 2: Murchison falls activities

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
after an early morning breakfast (@ 6:00am), you will go for game drive with a ranger to help you spot variety of animal species like; Uganda cob, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, lion, hartebeest, waterbuck, bohor reed buck, bushbuck, hyenas etc.

In the afternoon, you will have a relaxing boat trip along the Nile it’s takes about (3hrs) and here, you will be able to see animal like; Hippos, crocodiles and also various bird species along the river banks, and of course, hearing thunderous sounds of the high speed waterfall as you get near to its bottom.

After reaching the bottom of the falls you will get off the boat and begin your hike to the top of the falls (for about 45 minutes), where you will be able to have a perfect view of the world’s longest river forcing it’s waters to go through a narrow space within the rock to the bottom forming pool water before it’s sets off for the long journey. On reaching the top, you will find the guide already waiting for you to go for a hike to the falls and visit the top of the dramatic falls where water straggles to escape through a narrow gorge to the bottom before discharged off its long journey

Day 3: Murchison - Kampala

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
After your breakfast, you will relax at the lodge or go for early morning game drive. You will then continue back to Kampala arriving early evening and dropped at your lodge in Kampala or Entebbe or you can be dropped to the airport to catch your flight back home.
