3 days on the "roof" of Romania

This 3 days trail cross the highest part of the "Fagaras" mountain ridge, reaching the highest summit in Romania. Is a spectacular hike between glacier lakes and rocky ridges.

Itinerary

Day 1: Brasov-lake "Balea"-"Podragu" chalet

Pass By: Transfagarasan Highway, Dn 7C Sibiu and Arges County, Curtea de Arges 115300 Romania
Our access way to the starting point of our trail, is the highest road in Romania.

Stop At: Balea Glacier Lake, Fagaras Mountains Bâlea Lake Romania Romania
Here we'll disembark from the car and we'll start our hike.
Duration: 30 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight at "Podragu" chalet in dormitory

Day 2: "Podragu"- "Moldoveanu" peak-"Sambata" chalet

Stop At: Moldoveanu Peak, Fagaras Romania
Today we'll climb the highest summit in Romania.
