Itinerary

Day 1: Desert Tour; Fez to Merzouga

Stop At: Medina of Fez, Fes 30000 Morocco
Around 7:30am, your English and French speaking driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation.
Hop inside a very comfortable, and air-condition minivan with a very small group, maximum 7 travelers.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Ifrane, Ifrane, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Along the way, there will be many stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the kingdom and break for lunch.
Our first stop is Ifrane, a cafe break, and then wonder around the city. Tidy, ordered and modern, it feels more like Switzerland relocated to the Middle Atlas than North Africa.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Azrou Cedar Forest, Azrou Morocco
After, we will make a stop in the cedar forest of Azrou, inhabitant by macaque monkey eagerly waiting along side the road for passengers to feed them.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Midelt, Midelt, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Arriving to Midelt and 45 minutes break for lunch in a local restaurant.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Errachidia, Errachidia, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Continue south,you will start to notice the dramatic changing of landscape from mountainous and green to dry and rocky.
Before Errachidia, we will make a stop in a view point to look over a panoramic view of stretching oasis of palm trees.

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Arriving to Merzouga, install at your hotel located on the edge of the sand dunes.


Duration: 16 minutes

Day 2: Desert Tour: Full Day in Merzouga

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
You will have a full day in Merzouga desert.
You will have a free time until 4pm to wonder around the city and visit.
Duration: 7 hours

Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Around 4pm, ride your camel for about an hour to a desert camp set between the sand dunes.
After arriving to the camp, you will be welcomed by Moroccan mint tea. After watching the dreamiest sunset, dinner served followed by live music drum show

An early wake up to watch sunrise, and then ride your camel back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.
Then depart to Marrakech or back to Fez

Depart to Marrakech, along the way a lunch break in Ouarzazate. Before continue to the Red city through Tizi n'Tishka mountainous pass.
