3 Days Tarangire National park Wildlife Safari

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha Town – Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
0730 Hours: Depart Arusha or Moshi by road to Tarangire National Park. The Distance from Arusha is 130 Kilometers while from Moshi is 210 Kilometers.
1000 Hours: Arrive at the park and proceed on a game drive. Wildlife to be seen include Elephants, famous tree-climbing pythons, leopards, Zebra, Giraffe, DikDik and Ostrich and different species of birds can be seen.
1300 Hours: We arrive at your accommodations in time of lunch. After lunch relax before the afternoon game drive.
1530 Hours: Depart for the afternoon game drive. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants.
1830 Hours: We return back to our accommodations for the night.

Day 2: Full Day Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Park that offers wonderful panoramas of wide savannah grasslands dotted with open acacia woodland studded with large Baobab trees.
Elephants can be seen in herds of up to 600 at a time, along with masses of wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and Oryx, who, migrate from the dry Masai steppe to the gleaming Tarangire River in search of water during the dry season.
550 species of birds have been recorded here. Also the park has Tree climbing pythons.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Arusha Town

Stop At: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
0800 Hours: After breakfast depart by road back to Arusha/ Moshi.
1300 Hours: Arrive in Arusha. Transfer you to your hotel/ Residence.
