Dire Dawa and Harar have great role in the ancient big economical conditions of Ethiopia. Harar is now the only country in the whole world considered as "the living museum". Dire Dawa played a great role in the economic conditions of the country, being the gate of foreign trade relations.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fly Addis to Dire Dawa and Drive to Harar

Stop At: Dire Dawa, Dire Dawa
After a relaxed early breakfast, a short pre-scheduled flight will take you to one of Ethiopian's ancient city Dire Dawa. Our staffs will arrange some conditions for that you could have lunch and a wonderful Coffee at Dire Dawa.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Hyena Feeding Site, 844V+X65, Harar, Ethiopia
Drive to Harar (50km from Dire Dawa). You will arrive in Harar late in the afternoon where you will check into a hotel. Early in the evening, you will visit man feeding wild hyenas. Then you will have dinner & spend the night there.

Day 2: Visit the Walled town, Harar

Stop At: Jegol, Harar, Ethiopia
You will have an early breakfast and visit the walled city of Jegol, the house of Arthur Rimbaud (a French poetry who lived 1880’s in Harar), Emperor Haile Selassie's home (where he was born & raised) and Harari Cultural Museum.

Day 3: Drive Harar to Dire Dawa and Fly to Addis Ababa

Stop At: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
You will have breakfast & drive to Dire Dawa (50 Km from Harar). And check in for, a short flight back to Addis Ababa. You will arrive in Addis Ababa late afternoon where you will do some shopping for souvenirs. Finally you will be taken to a farewell dinner depending on your scheduled flight; you will be transferred out to Bole International Airport for return flight back home.
