Marrakech To Merzouga 3-Days Morocco Sahara Desert Tour

This is one of the very popular desert tours that one can experience in Morocco.
Our 3-day desert Sahara experience starts from Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains through to Ouarzazate. Our first main visit is to the UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Then we will continue crossing the Valley of the Roses. Our first night will be spent in a hotel in Bounamlen Dades. Day 2 of the 3-day desert Sahara experience will begin from Boumalen Dades to Tenghir where you will discover the amazing Todra Gorges. After we will continue to Merzouga desert through the Tafilit region, upon arriving in Merzouga where you will catch up with the camels to take you for a ride over the desert dunes while enjoying the beauty of the sunset on the way to the desert camp. The night will be spent in a Berber desert camp which is located in the heart of the Sahara desert.
The final day of your 3-day desert Sahara experience will be driving back to Marrakech where your tour will end.

Itinerary

Day 1: MARRAKECH - AIT-BEN HADDOU - BOUMALEN DADES

Stop At: Boumalne Dades, Boumalne Dades, Souss-Massa
After meeting in the place we had agreed. We will begin our journey to the southeast through the High Atlas through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, with a powerful overview from the mountains, in the direction of the ancient Berber villages of the High Atlas. Then we will visit the village of Ait Ben Haddou, the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural decoration for many movie producers since the 1960s. Once you arrive in Ait Ben Haddou, you will have lunch at one of Kasbah's restaurants. Afterwards, we continue our tour through the Dades Valley. Accommodation at the hotel or Riad.

Day 2: BOUMALEN DADES - TENGHIR - TAFILALET - MERZOUGA

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
After breakfast, we will head towards the Dades Gorge to the Merzouga Desert. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We will pass by Tinjdad, Erfoud, in which we will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga. After relaxing a few minutes, we approach the camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a camp equipped with drum music in the middle of the dunes, this is a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we go to the high dunes to see the sunset. We will spend the night in nomadic Berber tents.

Day 3: DAY 3: MERZOUGA - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
After watching the sunrise in the desert and after breakfast, we return on the camels to Merzouga and then begin our journey back to Ouarzazate. On my way; We visit the Berber stores that contain fossils, carpets, lamps, leather ... Tinjdad. Todra Gorges. Boumalene Dades we arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, after visiting, we will continue to Marrakech.
