Itinerary

An easy hike beyond Vienna's city limits over the Parapluieberg and the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide. The mountain is named after the Parabluiebäumen, so are called on Wienerisch the Schirmföhren. When crossing it we reach the Josefwarte, which rewards us with your view. The Pertoldsdorfer Heide is a landscape similar to a steppe, which is particularly protected. The heathland is a cultural landscape that has been created through thousands of years of human activity and is considered a natural jewel of international importance.
