3 Nights tour of Chitwan National Park

This 4 days private tour of Chitwan national park starts with transfers either from Kathmandu or Pokhara by private car. The safari is at the Chitwan National Park, one of the finest wildlife reserves in South Asia and also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is located in lowland of the ‘Terai’ belts of Nepal which shelters 50 species of flora and 700 species of wild fauna. During the safari, an entire two days of jungle walk and jeep safari are planned to trace wildlife deep in the jungle including visiting the Tharu village and know their local culture during the cultural program.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu/Pokhara – Chitwan

Stop At: Chitwan National Park, Main street Hatti Chwok, Sauraha 44200 Nepal
Early in the morning (6am) you shall be transferred from your hotel at to the bus station for the drive to Chitwan. (The tour can begin either from Kathmandu - 5hr drive or Pokhara - 4hr drive). Upon arrival in Chitwan, you shall be escorted to lodge from the bus station where a fine lunch awaits you. After lunch, you shall join the Tharu Village Tour to get more insight of the daily lives of the locals. Later on enjoy beautiful sunset at the nearby Sunset View-point. In the evening enjoy a cultural program of ‘Tharu Stick Dance’ performed by the local Tharu community and later on join a dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

Bharatpur has the domestic airport from where Sauraha Chitwan can be reached within 30 minutes.

Day 2: Canoe Ride and Full day Jungle Walk

Stop At: Chitwan National Park, Main street Hatti Chwok, Sauraha 44200 Nepal
Early dawn, meet your nature guide and start with a full canoe ride followed by a full day of jungle walk deep inside the jungle. During such walks there's a greater chances of spotting wildlife including rhinos in their natural habitat. In between the walks, you will have your packed lunch then in the evening return back to hotel.

Day 3: Full day Jeep Drive

After breakfast, go for exhilarating full day jeep drive deep in the jungle again for sightings of more animals such as monkeys, one-horned rhinos, deer, wild boars etc and even ‘Tiger’ if luck favors. Lunch (packed) will be inside the jungle during the break. Later in the afternoon. drive back to your hotel.
