4-Day Nairobi & Aberdare National Park Safari

Experience the Aberdares National Park where you will search for the big herds of Elephants, buffaloes, and Leopards in the forest. Get a combined stay in Aberdares Country Club with its own conservancy plus the famous Ark Lodge. Indulge in the many exciting activities like horseback riding in search of the game or just relax at the viewing deck at The Ark and wait for the animals to come to the watering hole.

The Aberdare National Park is a protected area in the Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya located east of the East African Rift Valley. It covers the higher areas and the Aberdare Salient to the east.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
Arrive Nairobi JKIA where our representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, transfer to your City hotel for Check-in. After relaxation and lunch, head out for Nairobi City Tour. Get to visit the giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum, Kazuri beads and a walking tour of the city center. Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional Game Meat Dinner at the Carnivore Dinner

Day 2: Aberdare National Park

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
This morning after breakfast your guide will pick you up and you drive to Aberdare National Park. On arrival check in at your tree house. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Evening head out for a game viewing drive at the park

Day 3: Game viewing at Aberdare

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
Enjoy a morning and evening game viewing drive and excursions in the forest. Animals to be seen include the Lion, Leopard, African elephant, African Hunting Dog, Giant Forest Hog, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Cape Buffalo, Suni, Side-Striped Jackal, Eland, Duikers Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus Monkey, and Sykes Monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo - an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Enjoys a sundowner after the game drive and later dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Departure back to Nairobi

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
