This safari package takes you on an unforgettable Kruger Park experience, including 4 nights accommodation at The Windmill Country Retreat (Hazyview), an afternoon (half day) safari, a full day safari, a morning safari in the Kruger National Park, all in an open safari vehicle with all game drives conducted by a professional field guide as well as a Panoramic Tour of the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest in the world, dinner and breakfast are included in this package as well as entrance fees to the Kruger National Park and Panoramic Tour and return shuttle from Johannesburg airport.  

Your accommodation is a short 25 minute drive from Kruger National Park, our charming country cottages are ideally situated in the picturesque Sabie River Valley close to Hazyview, surrounded by natural forest, providing the perfect gateway to explore the entire Kruger / Lowveld region, with Kruger on one side and the Blyde River Canyon on the other.

Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg to Hazyview shuttle, check in at The Windmill followed by a half day afternoon safari in the Kruger Park.

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
Half Day afternoon Safari in the Kruger National Park, by open safari vehicle with Kruger Park specialist nature guide, hotel pick-up & drop-off at The Windmill Country Retreat, guides collect guests at The Windmill and travel to the nearest Kruger Park entry gate, from there guests will begin there Kruger National Park safari for 4-5 hours, this is a perfect opportunity to see animals in the cooling afternoon and to see the incredible unspoiled views of the natural environment, with a specialist nature guide, by specialty modified open safari vehicle.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in the Kruger National Park

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
Full Day Safari in the Kruger National Park, by open safari vehicle with Kruger Park specialist nature guide, hotel pick-up & drop-off at The Windmill Country Retreat, during a full day safari guides collect guests in the early morning to get them to the Kruger entry gate as they open, guests will be on safari for 2-3 hours before stopping at a main picnic/rest camp for breakfast, after breakfast safari continues for another 2-3 hours until lunch, after lunch safari continues until reaching the Kruger Park entry/exit gate completing the full day safari experience.
Breakfast is packed in individual breakfast packs and presented by our guide on safari.

Day 3: Panoramic Tour of the Blyde River Canyon.

Stop At: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, R543, 2351 South Africa
Panoramic Tour of the Blyde River Canyon, a guided tour of various view points on the Panoramic tour, including beautiful waterfalls like lone creek and Lisbon falls, breathtaking panoramic views of the Blade River Canyon from The Three Rondawels and Bourck’s Luck Potholes as well as a visit to the world famous Gods Window.

Day 4: Half day morning safari in the Kruger Park, followed by check out and return shuttle to OR Tambo Airport.
