Itinerary

Day 1: Dunhuang Airport — Dunhuang Night Market — Hotel (D)

Stop At: Shazhou Nightly Market, Yangguan East Road, Dunhuang China
Your Guide and driver will hold the sign with your name and be waiting for your arrival at exit based on your flight information. This is the biggest night market in the area. You will see a lot of local small commodities and it is a great place to experience the local food culture.
After dinner to the hotel, relax in your comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Dunhuang — Mogao Caves — Mingsha Shan and Crescent Moon Pool (B/L/D)

Stop At: Mogao Caves, West of Hexi Zoulang, Dunhuang 736200 China
Meet your guide and driver in your hotel lobby and start your exciting sightseeing tour from to Mogao Caves and Digital Film Center, Located in the Gobi desert, the Caves of the Thousand Buddhas feature beautiful wall fresco paintings and more than 3,000 sculptures dating from the forth to the fourteenth century.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Mingsha Shan - Echoing-Sand Mountain, Three miles from Dunhuang, Dunhuang 831900 China
After lunch you will visit Mingsha Shan and Crescent Moon Pool, Includes shuttle bus and camel ride experience. the Mingsha sands and the crescent moon lake are both in the same place. you can camel ride. it only takes 1 hour for the ride.

Stop At: Crescent Moon Pool, 5km South of Dunhuang, Dunhuang 736200 China
The camel ride was very enjoyable and going up to the top of a sandune gave u a commanding view of the area. make sure you dont wear a skirt if you are going camel riding. firstly the camels are wider than a horse, secondly the breeze on top of the dunes is significant. but wear a skirt if you want to look like Marilyn Monroe in New york.
After Dinner you will be drop-off at your Dunhuang hotel.

Day 3: Duhang — Jiuquan — Zhangye (B/L/D)

Stop At: Jiayuguan Fortress, Within Yuquan Town, Yuquan Town, Jiayuguan 735100 China
Meet up your friendly private guide and driver at your hotel in the early morning, Head up to Jiuquan. Upon arrival, and enjoy a lunch after you will visit Jiayuguan Fortress. Standing among vast desert and surrounded by rolling mountains, Jiayuguan Fortress looks like a dignified general guarding the grand land. It was constructed with the most integrated defensive system: an inner city, an outer city, and a moat. Besides functioning as a frontier military fortress, it was also an important traffic hub along the Silk Road, the oldest worldwide trading route.
After you will to Zhangye, Then, have a tasty local dinner.

Day 4: Zhangye — Danxia Geopark——Zhangye Airport (B/L)

Stop At: Zhangye Danxia Geopark, 30km South of the County, Linze County 734200 China
Meet your guide with pickup from your hotel, then travel to Zhangye's colorful Danxia landforms,and are more spectacular and beautiful because of the rich and varied colors of the rocks. On a sunny day, you can see the shadow of the sun setting off the dark and solid three-dimensional color of the rock. The rainy day is richer and more distinct because the rock absorbs the rich water color.
When your tour is finished, After lunch time, Return back to Zhangye Airport or Train station.
