Svaneti is included in the World Heritage List and protected by UNESCO, so that, once in Svaneti, you will visit the open-air museum.

Svaneti is the beginning of many hiking, climbing, horse and backcountry trails leading to the most famous Caucasus Mountains of Georgia

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Tbilisi to Svaneti (Mestia)

Stop At: Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography, A. Lozeliani st. 7, Mestia 384750 Georgia
We will meet at your hotel early at the morning and start our long and wondefull trip to Svaneti. During our trip we will pass three regions of Georgia wich makes this trip more memorible. Our first main stop will be at Enguri dam which is one of the highest arch dam in the world(a height of 271.5 metres). Then we drive to the region of Upper Svaneti which is an outstanding example of an exceptional mountain landscape composed of highly preserved villages with unique defensive tower houses, examples of ecclesiastical architecture and arts of medieval origin. After arriving to Mestia we will take you to the hotel to check in , give you some tome to relax and later we will take you Mestia city center for dinner if you wish or to explore center of small town by walking.

Day 2: Hatsvali - Chalaadi Glacier

Stop At: Hatsvali Ski Resort, 2P9Q+2GG, Ieli, Georgia
The second day we will start our tour from number one highlight - Hatsvali cable cars , wich are just 15 minutes driving from mestia center, wich will take you to panoramic Cafe Zuruldi which is located on the top of mountain and has great views over Great Caucasus mountains – two headed Ushba and snow white princess Tetnuldi.

Stop At: Chalaadi Glacier, 4PG8+9PV, Mestia, Georgia
Have you ever seen where river borns ?
So after visiting Hatsvali cable cars it's time for some short hiking to Chalaadi Glacier. Hiking start point located 30 minutes away from Hatsvali cable cars , from where we will will start our small hiking to the glacier 2 km uphill through beautiful wood.

Day 3: Mestia-Ushguli-Mestia

Stop At: Ushguli, Ushguli, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region
At the third day of the morning you will depart by our car or local off road car to Ushguli located at the head of the Enguri gorge , recognized as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe with the outstanding mixture of mountainous landscape and the medieval-type towers and churches . Here you will abale to visit the Ushguli Ethnograpic museum located in the 12th century old Svanetian tower-house, "Love Tower". You can also visit a mediaval Lamaria church ( of the assumption of the Mother of God) and take unforgettable photos.

Day 4: Transfer from Svaneti(Mestia) to Tbilisi

Stop At: Tbilisi, Tbilisi
So this is last day of trip and time to drive back to Tbilisi , but do not worry about long way back because we have left some places for you , on the way back to Tbilisi according your wish we can visit Martvili Canyon or Prometheus Cave.

Prometheus Cave wich is Georgia's natural wonder and one of the largest cave in the world. Here you can observe stalactites, stalagmites, underground river and lakes, you will have a nice 1.2km walk in mysterious and cool atmosphere.

Martvili Canyon place with lots of waterfalls and sky blue water where you have the opportunity to take a trip by boat and enjoy the beautiful views of canyon.
