4-Day Trip to Ushuaia by Air from Buenos Aires

Fly from Buenos Aires for a 3-night adventure to the end of the world! Just 3 hours away by air, arrive to the city of Ushuaia, known as the southernmost city in the world and the capital city of the Province of Tierra del Fuego. Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, located 7 miles (11 km) outside of Ushuaia. Departing the city, you'll immediately begin to see a change in scenery as you drive past picturesque Patagonian lakes, lagoons and rivers, bodies of water that all exit through the famous Beagle Channel. Board a Catamaran to go on a sailing trip in the middle of the channel. Accommodation with breakfast, transportation, flights are included.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Stop At: Ushuaia Airport (USH), V9401 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
Transfer from the airport/bus terminal to the Hotel.

Day 2: Tierra de Fuego National Park

Stop At: Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego, Avenida Gral San Martin 1395, Ushuaia V9410BGA Argentina
It is located 11 km away from the city. We will be able to appreciate lakes, lagoons and rivers within its limits, and their exit towards Beagle Channel.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Southern Fuegian Railway, RN3 km 3065, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
Departing from Maipu Avenue, we'll head towards the southwest by the national route number. 3 and drive out of the city passing by the slope of the Susana Mount, witness of the work of the prisoners of the old prison, where now the Southern Fuegian Railway is located. Here we will stop for this optional tour.

Stop At: Canal Beagle, Ushuaia 9410 Argentina
Continuing through the valley to the deviation that takes us to the Ensenada Bay, we will be able to contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast of the Channel of Beagle, the snow-white Mountains of the Sampaio Chain (Chile).

Stop At: Lago Roca, Tierra del Fuego National Park Argentina
Back again on the national route #3 with the fuegian forest and its flora close to the road we will go to the Roca Lake to do a long walk by the lake coast and by the Lapataia river, originated in the lake. From this point we can see the Cóndor Hill natural border with Chile.

Stop At: Laguna Negra, Av. San Martín 513, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
We will go towards the other end of the Park, where route 3 ends at Lapataia Bay, on the way to the mentioned bay we will observe the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, large growing peat bog.

Stop At: Bahia Lapataia, Ushuaia Argentina
Finally we will pass by the beaver dams, whose footpath will lead to Lapataia Bay.

Day 3: Beagle Channel Boat Tour With Sea Lions' Island

Stop At: Canal Beagle, Ushuaia 9410 Argentina
The tour begins with the transfer from the hotels of Ushuaia to the Tourist Port "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisigheli", where we will board the boat. As we move away from the coast, we will be able to see incredible panoramic views of the whole city and its most important buildings, in addition to a combination of sea and mountains, highlighting the mountains Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel and the Encajonado River.

In the direction of the island of Los Lobos, we can observe these curious and friendly marine mammals, and in complete silence, sail around the island for about 20 minutes observing its habitat. Then the catamaran will head to the island of Los Pájaros to see the cormorants, Magellanic, Albatross, Fullman Petrels, Giant Petrels and 20 different species of seabirds.

Later, sailing through Paso Chico, we return to Ushuaia, with a view of the beautiful setting that gives the city the Martial Mount and its glacier of the same name.

Pass By: Faro Les Eclaireurs, Ushuaia Argentina
From there, the boat heads towards the centre of the Beagle Channel, towards the south-west, reaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name. On one of these islands it is possible to see parts of the ship Monte Cervantes, which was wrecked in 1930.

Pass By: Las Margaritas, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
