Day 1: Addis Ababa - Steles of Tiya – Butajira – Arba Minch
Stop At: Tiya World Heritage Site, Tiya Ethiopia
Next, discover the grave site of the Steles of Tiya (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Here you will see about 40 stone grave markers decorated with carvings and erected in the 14th Century AD.

After lunch at Butajira town, pass by the circular Crater Lake Hare Sheitan (Devil’s Lake). Stop at selected outlooks to enjoy the superb view of the Ethiopian section of the Great East African Rift Valley.

Day 2: Arba Minch – Karat Konso – Arba Minch
Stop At: Konso, Konso, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region
Take an excursion from Arba Minch to Konso (or Karat-Konso) to visit the villages of the tribal people of Konso. The Konso people are noted for colorful clothing, traditional masks and shields, and decorative feathers.
Visit Konso [UNESCO World Heritage Site] famous for its rock terraced agricultural Konso Cultural Landscape, architecturally inspiring villages fenced with huge stones, wooden ceremonial structures, and their colorful hand woven cotton costumes.

Meet the "King of Konso" who is in charge of governing the nine clans of Konso. Then, visit Konso Museum to have a deeper knowledge of the culture and history of the Konso people.

Day 3: Arba Minch – Shashemene – Awasa
Stop At: Dorze Village, Arba Minch Ethiopia
After breakfast, drive for an hour to Chencha where you will experience the Dorze Tribe culture by visiting their huge bamboo huts, learning how the Dorze people prepare their bread and porridge from the root of Enset (False Banana Tree).

Stop At: Shashamene Zuria, Ethiopia
Drive north to Awasa visiting the villages of the Alaba tribal. After lunch at Shashemene, learn the religious and historical background of Rastafarianism by visiting the Jamaican Rastafarian Community and their church.

Day 4: Awasa – Fish Market of Awasa Lake – Abidjatta Shalla National Park – Addis Ababa
Stop At: Fish Market at Awassa Lake, Awassa Lake, Awasa Ethiopia
Uncover how life goes at the Fish Market of Awassa Lake by seeing how locals collect the fish catch by net, clean it by hand, and enjoy their breakfast of fresh catch fish.

Stop At: Abidjatta-Shalla National Park, Awasa Ethiopia
Take a gentle waling tour in the Abidjatta Shalla National Park to see gazelles, warthogs, ostriches, etc. Take time at a viewpoint to enjoy the superb scenery of Lake Abidjatta and Lake Shalla.

Stop At: Lake Ziway, Ziway Ethiopia
Have lunch by the side of the other Rift Valley Lake of Langano – the only Rift Valley Lake of Ethiopia which is free from Bilharziasis and safe for swimming.
On the way back to Addis Ababa, stop at the Rift Valley Lake of Ziway and one of the crater lakes of Bishoftu.
