4 Days Cultural and Village Stay Experience

This a tour that will make you understand the culture of the people of Ghana, understand how the monkeys lives with humans.

Itinerary

Day 1: ACCRA TO BONO EAST REGION

Stop At: Manhyia Palace Museum, Ahanti New Town Road off Antoa Road, Kumasi Ghana
We will visit the residence and the historic museum of the Ashanti King.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Prempeh II Museum, Bantama High St, Kumasi Ghana
We will visit the Prempeh ii Jubilee Museum in the Kumasi cultural centre to learn about this Great Ashanti king.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
We will visit the ancient village of Boabeng-Fiema to stay and learn about the lives of the people and how they live humoneously with the monkeys.


Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: BONO EAST REGION

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
This morning we will we do tour of the sanctuary to observe the monkeys and see how the Mona monkeys and the Black and white Colobus Monkeys interact with each other.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
This afternoon, we will make a courtesy on the Monkey Priest ( Human Representative of the Monkeys and the Caretaker of Darrow Shrine).
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
In the evening, we will have a community tour of the village and learn about their way of life. We will also experience a traditional dance performance from the locals.

Day 3: BONO EAST REGION

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
This morning after breakfast we will join one of the families from the village tour a cashew, cassava, yam, plantain and vegetables farm.

Next, We will visit the Kintampo Water Falls.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 4: BONO EAST REGION TO ACCRA

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
This morning after breakfast we will visit the Sanctuary souvenir shop to see the beautiful Monkey Masks and Elegant Paintings available.

Next, we will leave Boabeng-Fiema for Kumasi, To pick a flight to accra
