4 Days Galápagos Island Hopper: Santa Cruz and Isabela Islands

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer in + High Land + Charles Darwin Scientific Station

Stop At: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
Arrival at Baltra airport and personalized welcome (Poster with names and waiting guide) to go to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. We will leave the airport to get on a bus that will take us to the canal of Itabaca. We will board a barge to cross the channel of Itabaca (maximum sailing time 10min).

Stop At: Charles Darwin Research Station, Ave Charles Darwin, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
When we arrive at Santa Cruz Island we will begin the tour by what is called the Upper part of the island. We will take the road to visit two places towards the hotel, the ranch where you can see the turtles of Galapagos and the Scientific Station Charles Darwin These tourist attractions are visited autonomously, our driver will take you and wait for you during the activities. They will finish the tour at the hotel selected for the check-in.

Day 2: Ferry to Isabela Island + Tintoreras Tour

Stop At: Isabela Island, Galapagos, 010850 Ecuador
In the afternoon we will go to the dock of Puerto Ayora where they will take a water taxi to the speedboat, a journey of approximately two and a half hours, which will take us to Isla Isabela.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 3: Ferry to Santa Cruz + Bay Tour

Stop At: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
In the morning from the hotel, at the indicated time, we will go to Puerto Villamil where we will take a water taxi to the speedboat, a journey of approximately two and a half hours, which will take us back to the island of Santa Cruz.

In the afternoon we will meet in the lobby of the hotel to head towards the "Loberia", a small island located two miles away, where the sea lions meet. They’re very kind and like to swim with people. Then, we will move to the "Shark Channel", a fissure or crevices formed by magmatic chamber, where they will be able to observe the sharks "ravine dyes" and are completely harmless. Ocean birds can also be seen among lava rocks. The third destination to visit is "Canal del Amor", another fissure, fantastic for photography, of exceptional scenic beauty.

Stop At: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
Then we will head to the "Franklin Bay" where you will find sea turtles, golden rays, eagle stripes and a mangrove area where pelicans and herons nest depending on the season." La Grieta" is the next place to visit. Here you will take a fifteen minute walk on the lava rocks where you will see the Darwin finches, shorebirds and lagoon, endemic and native vegetation. The cracks remain the channels of sharks and love, only inward, where the water is less salty. Here you can snorkel and swim ravine.
Finally visit "La Playa de Los Perros" where you will have the option to take a walk. This beach was named after the large number of "dog crabs" found in the area, along with the largest marine iguanas on the island of Santa Cruz. Once all the activities are over we will return to the hotel.

Day 4: Transfer Out in Private Taxi

At the agreed time, we will head to the airport to take the return flight.
