After early breakfast we will go downhill into the crater to spot wildlife for a half day tour. Maintained by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park cares for a huge diversity of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big issue to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which comprise lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes it needs a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a huge but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, and it is one of the main topography of the crater. A big number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can typically been observed here. In the afternoon after lunch we will drive to Arusha.
