4 Day Tour from the West to the East

Itinerary

Day 1: Kutaisi - Batumi - Kutaisi

Stop At: Batumi Boulevard, 2, Ninoshvili Str 1, K. Gamsakhurdia Str, Batumi 6010 Georgia
The first stop is Europe square and statue of Medea. Then we move to Piazza square and to Church of St. Nicholas. From here we go to Batumi port. Afterwards group visits moving statue of Ali & Nino. The next stop is alphabet tower of Batumi. Then we walk down boulevard and through dancing fountains park. The last stop of our excursion is The Drama Theatre of Batumi and statue of Neptune.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Makhuntseti Waterwall, Keda Georgia
To escape from the heat of Batumi, we’re heading to Makhuntseti. Then we are heading to Makhuntseti waterfall that is one of the highest waterfalls in Georgia. Afterwards we go down to King Tamar’s bridge that was built in 14th century, where guests are able to jump from bridge and swim in freezing mountain river.

Stop At: Mirveti Waterfall, Mirveti Georgia
Next stop is Mirveti waterfall to achieve it we have to cross hanged bridge and walk through village.

Day 2: Kutaisi - Kazbegi - Tbilisi

Stop At: Surami, Surami, Shida Kartli Region
The first stop is in Surami where we taste Georgian sweet bread “Nazuki”. They show us how it’s made and give us some to test.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway Near Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri 1803 Georgia
The first place we visit is Ananuri castle. We have one hour to explore medieval castle with churches and fighting towers. From the castle there is amazing view on Zhinvali water reservoir. After excursion in complex we are heading to the north.

Stop At: Gudauri View Point, Georgia
On the way we stop at Viewpoint of Gudauri
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Gergeti Trinity Church, Near the Village of Gergeti, Stepantsminda Georgia
We visit Holy Trinity Church of Gergeti

Day 3: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

Stop At: Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Arsukidze, Mtskheta 3300 Georgia
We start excursion from Svetitskhoveli cathedral in Mtskheta. Mtskheta is considered religious center of Georgia.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia
Next stop is Jvari monastery. From There is amazing view on Mtskheta, Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Georgia
We walk in old part of Tbilisi. We cover: Metekhi church, Europe square, Bridge of peace, Cable way ride to Narikala fortress, Legvatkhevi waterfall and Sulphur bathes of Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi - Borjomi, Rabati & Vardzia - Kutaisi

Stop At: Borjomi Central Park, 50, 9 Aprili Street, Borjomi 1200 Georgia
The first spot is Borjomi central park. . Here we are able to test mineral water from springs. At the entrance of park there is a cable way that goes up to the hill. From cable way and hill there is amazing view on the park and mountains of Borjomi.

Stop At: Rabati Castle, Akhaltsikhe Georgia
We are heading to Rabati castle. We explore medieval castle with local guide who tells us about history and structure of it.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Vardzia Cavetown Viewpoint, Georgia
The last destination is Vardzia – City of caves. When all rooms of the complex are explored we return back to Kutaisi.
