4 Days Uyuni Salt Flats with English Guide by Bus from La Paz

The service starts with pick-up from your Hotel in La Paz, to take a night bus to Uyuni on arrival we pick it up from the Bus, to start with the 3-day and 2-night tour of the Salar de Uyuni.

Join this 3-day tour in Salar de Uyuni sharing with more people interested in the visiting this surreal landscape of desert and colored lagoons of the Eduardo Avaroa Reseve with your professional english speaking guide in a TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 4WD.

In winter, called dry season from May to October, when the surface hardens, geometric figures formed by the salt particles agglomerated into polygons appear. In summer, rainy season from November to March, the salt desert is transformed into a giant mirror that blends into the sky of the purest blue you've ever seen before.

Itinerary

Day 1: La Paz - Uyuni

Day 1: La Paz - Uyuni (D)

The service starts with pick up from your Hotel in La Paz City, (1 hour before the bus departure time) to take a night bus to Uyuni that leaves at 8:30 p.m.

The bus that we select is TODO TOURISMO COMPANY, one of the most comfortable with reclining seats (semicama), with bath on board, assistance in English and small dinner included.

Day 2: Uyuni - San Juan

Day 2 : Uyuni - San Juan (B, L, D)

After a 9-hour bus ride, we wait for you to transfer you to our offices and enjoy a delicious breakfast and then start with the 3-day and 2-night tour of the Salar de Uyuni.

Enter the Salar by Colchani where we will see the salt processing and piles of salt, visit the hotel salt, eyes water and continue downtown to visit the Incahuasi Island of volcanic rock and giant cactus and a top that climb it becomes extraordinary viewpoint of the white salt plain.

Stop and overnight in San Juan.
we go at the opposite end of the Salar to head to Galaxy Cave, an extraordinary place where we can appreciate ancestral burials and petrified cactus.

At night we came to stay overnight at a Basic Hostal de Sal in dormitories.

Day 3: San Juan - Laguna Colorada

Stop At: Laguna Canapa, Uyuni Bolivia

To the south are Cañapa gaps, Stinking, Chiarkota, Honda and Ramadita, where large numbers of flamingos can be founded. Other birds, such as geese and Andean gulls accompany the flamingos in these lagoons flanked by snow-capped volcanoes.

At night we came to stay overnight at a basic hostel in the red lagoon to watch the sunset in one of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet

Day 4: Laguna colorada - Uyuni- La Paz

Stop At: Geiser Sol de la Manana, Avaroa National Reserve, Uyuni Bolivia

At dawn we will go in search of known geysers Sol de Mañana. They arrive at the first rays of light. This is the highest point of the route, about 5000 m.

The cold is intense. You will see pools where the land seems to boil red, gray and scarlet mud can be traversed by us in their own shores. The desert and Salar de Chalviri is another scene of great landscape value that combines the white snow, ocher desert, the blue water and white of borax. In one corner we can take a bath in Termas de Polques and enjoy a hearty breakfast outdoors.

Stop At: Laguna Verde, Bolivia

And almost as an excess and to leave this desert valley, we will visit Laguna Verde, at the foot of the volcano Licancabur.

We arrive at this lagoon just on time to see how the water go from emerald green to a duller.

In return we stop for lunch at Laguna Colorada, main nesting center of the three species of flamingos and whose algae and plankton activated by solar radiation and wind give both pink lagoon as part of the legs and plumage these exotic birds.

We return to Uyuni and upon arrival after a brief descent, we transfer it to the Bus for its return to La Paz, the bus company is the same, TODO TURISMO.
