5 Day Atlas Mountains - Mount. Toubkal Summit Excursion

Together, with my fathers extensive hospitality and tourism experiences, my family aspire to bring you a provision of new, refreshing and exciting authentic trekking and hiking experiences within the best of Morocco and of course, our home and our life, the Atlas Mountains.
With our experience and local knowledge of the wonderful and rural Atlas Mountains, the vibrant and bustling City of Marrakech, the legendary and serene Sahara Desert and the 4,167 m summit of Mount. Toubkal (in which collectively, and proudly, we have reached more than 300 times). It is our mission as residents that we endeavour to not only give guests travel opportunities within our country but to also encourage sustainability in order to support the development of our local communities.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1 - Imlil to Toubkal National Park Refuge

Stop At: Imlil, Imlil, Marrakech-Safi
You will start in the centre of Imlil village where you will trek to the popular Aroumd and Chamharouch climbing across the terrains to for your overnight stay in the refugee camp site. Total trek time is around 7 hours.
Duration: 7 hours

Accommodation included: guest house or tent depending on season.

Day 2: Day 2 - Toubkal National Park Refuge to Toubkal Summit

Stop At: Toubkal, Morocco
Next day we will wake up early in morning before sunrise to take on the trek up the the summit of Jbel Toubkal, the second highest Mountain in North Africa of 4167m returning to the Refuge for the night. The total trekking duration is around 7 hours.
Duration: 7 hours

Day 3: Day 3 - Toubkal Refuge to Azib tamsoult

Stop At: Azib tamsoult, 32WJ+XR7, Tizi Oussem, Morocco
After breakfast, we will trek up to Tizi Aguelzim (3,104m) here you will enjoy a great panoramic view. We will trek down to Azib Tamsoult we will aravie by the afternoon approx 5pm allowing you to relax or visit the beautiful waterfall nearby where we will be staying overnight.

Day 4: Day 4 - Azib Tamsoult to Arghan & imlil

Stop At: Imlil, Imlil, Marrakech-Safi
Today we will start our trek from our accomodation in Azib Tamsoult, trekking to Tizi Mzik where you will enjoy lovely view of the beautiful Valley Azzadena nd Valley Ghighiya before climbing down to Arghan for the overnight accomodation.
Duration: 7 hours

Day 5: Day 5 - Arghan to Marrakech

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
This is the last day of the trek. We will enjoy the views of Arghan overlooking the Mountains and the village of Imlil during breakfast before a trek down to Imlil for our return transport to Marrakkech.
Duration: 2 hours
