5-Day Trip in San Cristobal Galapagos Land-based/Low budget

The 5-day  program you will experience the highlights of the Galapagos Islands, you can choose from Tourist to Comfort Class Hotels.  Transportation, accommodation in double or single rooms, some meals included (Ecuadorian menu), and a bilingual naturalist guide, who will accompany you during the tours. If you are a single traveler it is possible to join the group tour and to stay in a private room upon a single charge. The highlights of this program are: in San  Cristobal, Tijeretas & Carola Beach, Lobos Island, and Leon Dormido.

Itinerary

Day 1: San Cristobal Island/ Transfer in + Tijeretas & Carola Beach

Stop At: Cerro Tijeretas, Port Baquerizo Moreno, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Ecuador
You will be able to snorkel the shallow waters of Tijeretas Bay or Carola beach, where you can see sea lions, various tropical fishes, and turtles.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Playa Punta Carola, Path to Playa Carola, s/n Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, 120506 Ecuador
Visit Playa Punta Carola to meet the sea lions that call this beach home. Other residents you can see up close include pelicans, seagulls, lizards, and turtles. Get in the water for some excellent snorkeling or swimming.

Day 2: Isla Lobos / San Cristobal

Stop At: Isla Lobos, San Cristobal Island, Galapagos, 120506 Ecuador
Lobos Island (more hiking): On a 30 min boat ride from the port you arrive on Lobos Island, as its name implies a home to a large sea lion colony. But that’s not the only thing you’ll find while you’ll hike and snorkel at the island on this half-day tour. During the hike, you hopefully spot blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas and frigate birds, while during snorkeling you can often see the marine iguanas eating, as well as rays and turtles in the sandy bottom that separates Lobos Island from the mainland of San Cristobal. This tour includes a stop at Playa Ochoa. In the early afternoon, you be back at the port and have the rest of the afternoon free time.

Day 3: Free day in San Cristobal

Pass By: San Cristobal, San Cristobal, Galapagos Islands
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in San Cristobal. Opportunity to visit some attractions like Ochoa Beach, Puerto Chino, Española Island or a diving day on your own

Day 4: San Cristobal Island/ Kicker Rock

Stop At: Kicker Rock, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Ecuador
 You will visit the famous Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido – sleeping Lion), a volcanic formation amid the ocean. There you will be able to snorkel with sharks, rays, turtles and if you are luck also with hammerhead sharks! After lunch on the boat, you will go to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you will have time to relax. At afternoon you will be back at the port.
