Day 1: Arrive in Dunhuang

Meet your local guide at the arriving hall of Dunhuang Airport ( DNH ), transfer to your hotel and check in , relax in the hotel.
Visit the city museum in the afternoon, or the White Horse Stupa.

Day 2: The Yumen Pass & Great Wall of Han Dynasty, Yangguan Pass

Pass By: Yumen Pass, 90 Km Northwest of Dunhuang, Dunhuang 736200 China
Visit the Yumen Pass & Yangguan Pass, the Great Wall of Han Dynasty, In history, the Han Dynasty built many walls to consolidate the safety of the frontier region as well as exploring ways to do business with western region. Instead of piling up stones or bricks layer upon layer like other dynasties' walls, the Han Dynasty Great Wall is built by using the local sand and weed. These two constructional materials were added by putting one on top of another.
Visit Yangguan Pass and it's museum, a special souvenir will be prepared for you.

Day 3: Full day tour to Mogao Caves

Pass By: Mogao Caves, West of Hexi Zoulang, Dunhuang 736200 China
You will visit the Mogao Caves& Digital Film Center accompanied by a PRIVATE cave guide , one of the 4 most famous grottoes in China. It has a total of 492 grottoes, 45,000 square-meters of murals, 2,400 painted statues and over 250 residential caves remain. After lunch continue to visit 3 more special caves.

Enjoy the top dance drama in China in the evening ------ THE SILK ROAD , 90 minutes.

Day 4: Yulin Caves & Suoyangcheng Ruins

Visit the Yulin Grottoes, it can be traced to the same origin in contents, artistic style and form of painting for the Mogao Grottoes, it’s regarded as its sister with its name known to many people in the country. 3 special caves have arranged in the tour.

Pass By: Suoyangchengzhen, Guazhou, Jiuquan, Gansu, China
Visit the ruins of Suoyangcheng, it used to be a very important stop on the Silk Road, it has listed in the UNESCO in 2015.

Day 5: Mingsha Mountain & Crescent Moon Spring, Farewell to Dunhuang.

Pass By: Mingsha Shan - Echoing-Sand Mountain, Three miles from Dunhuang, Dunhuang 831900 China
Visit the Crescent Moon Spring & the Singing-Sand Dunes. The magical spring is located in the center of sand dunes, but it has never been covered by the sand throughout the history.

Pass By: Dunhuang, Dunhuang, Gansu
After lunch transfer to Dunhuang airport ( DNH ), take your flight to next city.
OR, transfer to Dunhuang Railway Station, take the speed train to Jiayuguan / Zhangye / Xining / Lanzhou. (we can assist you book the speed train tickets )
