5 Days Historical Barpak Village Homestay Hike

Barpak Village is a revival tourism spot is a small picturesque hilltop station lies 45km north from Gorkha at an elevation of 1900m. Barpak was also the homeland of great Gaje Ghale-honored by the Victoria Cross during 2nd world war in Burma.

Beautifully brimmed with unique sloppy village dense stone-tile roofed houses, Barpak is enriched with abundant culture and majestic landscapes. Once hit by a 7.9 magnitude Richter scale earthquake in 2015, Barpak now is fully easily accessible with paved roads, electricity, phone water supply, and many other facilities.

A short and gentle hike towards the viewpoint called Mumche Hill provides the panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Buddha Himal, Siringe Himal, Manaslu, and Himchuli. The exceptional view of Daraundi River descending from Gorkha Himal and Ghhulung glacier in the Manaslu region passing through impressive gorge of tropical forest has added the perk of Barpak Village Tour.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Drive to Barpak

Stop At: Barpak Sulikot RM office, 6PPV+2W2, Nepal
We take an early drive from Kathmandu to Barpak from the bus park. You will be picked from your hotel in Kathmandu for the tour. And our journey to Barpak characterizes by the high waterfalls, rushing rivers, lush green forests, and diverse landscapes. Overnight, we stay at local homestay at Barpak. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 3: Hike to Viewpoint and Explore the Village

Stop At: Barpak Sulikot RM office, Palkhu Bazar, Deurali Taku road, ताकुकोट, Nepal
We hike slowly towards the viewpoint which offers wonderful landscapes and the glistening and closeup views of Mt. Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges. After some time, we hike down and spend some time exploring the local village and explore Nag Pokhari and the homeland of brave Gurkha. Overnight at a local homestay. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner are included.

Day 4: Drive back to Kathmandu
