In Tayrona Park you’ll enjoy Seven Waves Beach and a boat ride to Playa Cristal, along with some wonderful beach time and time to explore the jungle. You’ll also enjoy an ecological walk for a couple of hours to Cabo San Juan, passing through tropical jungle and many simply stunning beaches along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day - Santa Marta, Colombia

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Arrive at a time of your chosen and be collected from the airport and taken to your accommodation in Santa Marta to check-in. At which time you will have the rest of the day to explore or if you come early enough we can organize an additional tour for you.

Day 2: Tayrona Park and Cabo San Juan

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality 470007 Colombia
Cabo San Juan in the Tayrona Park is a mixture of environments where you can find tropical jungle on one side of you, and beautiful white sands, and the Caribbean blue ocean on the other. Together this mix of nature forms a perfect Caribbean landscape.

You’ll be taken to Tayrona park and enjoy a 2-hour ecological walk through the jungle and visit 4 beaches along the way including Arenillas, La Piscina, Cabo San Juan, and Los Arrecifes.

You’ll also enjoy some fantastic beach time (approx. 3 hours), along with time to explore the area or partake of some watersports, such as snorkeling.

After your beach-time has passed you’ll enjoy another 1.5-hour walk through the jungle and your waiting transportation.

Day 3: Minca Tour

Stop At: MINCA TOURS, Minca, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Travel to the small town of Minca, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy a tour of this wonderful little mountain pueblo, along with a tour of a coffee plantation and Cocoa Plantation (perhaps you’ll enjoy a cocoa facemask), some amazing hidden waterfalls (opportunity for a refreshing swim), and of course, you’re bound to spot a few exotic birds in your travels.

Day 4: Tayrona Park and Playa Cristal

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality 470007 Colombia
Enjoy a wonderful day at Playa Cristal (Crystal Beach), where the purity and clarity of its water allow you to explore the sea and all of its life so easily.

You’ll be collected from your hotel and enjoy a relaxing drive to your first stop; the amazing Seven Waves Beach vantage point where you’ll enjoy some wonderful views and an excellent opportunity for some wonderful photos.

Next, it’s just a short drive to Neguanje Beach, where you’ll be changing transportation for a motorboat ride to your final destination; Playa Cristal!

Once here you’ll enjoy a wonderful 3-4 hours of beach time, where you’ll also have the opportunity to go swimming and hire snorkeling gear as well.

Day 5: Santa Marta - Free day

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
