5 days Tanahunsur Village Homestay Hike

Just 5 hours drive from the country’s capital, you will have a great chance to witness rural life, culture, and tradition of the indigenous people living at Tanahunsur Village. Annapurna, Macchhapuchre, Lamjung Himal, Ligligkot, Raginaskot, Mirlugkot, Tamakot and many more supported by the beautiful fertile layered terraces at the hillside. The Himalayan sunrise and sunset view from the top of Tanahunsur Village makes this homestay tour highly aspiring. You will get to encounter with daily activities of the local traditional people, get to work with them either in the field or taking cattle to graze at the riverside. The inhabitants of this village are Newar, Magar, Brahmin, Chhetri, Sarki, Kasain, etc where you enjoy their customs, traditions, and beliefs. Chutka Dance is a famous and popular dance in this village.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Drive to Tanahun

Stop At: Tanahunsur Village, Bhanu Marg, Tanahunsur 19503, Nepal
We take an early drive from Kathmandu to Tanahun from the tourist bus park. You will be picked from your hotel in Kathmandu for the tour. And our journey to Tanahun characterizes by the rushing rivers, lush green forests, and diverse landscapes. Overnight, we stay at local homestay at Tanahun. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 3: Hike to Viewpoint and Explore Village, terrace and mountains

Stop At: Tanahunsur Village, Bhanu Marg, Tanahunsur 19503, Nepal
Today, we slowly hike towards the viewpoint of Tanahunsur village with wonderful landscapes and magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal and Ligligkot on clear weather. The entire village with rice layered fields and the green terrace look stunning from the top. We spend some time there and hike down slowly. We have our lunch there and start to explore the local village. At the evening, we will also enjoy Chutka- the cultural and significant dance of the Tanahunsur Village and get back to homestay. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

Day 4: Drive back to Kathmandu
