6-Day Trip in Galápagos Land-Based Including 4 Islands

This 6-day  program you will experience the highlights of the Galapagos Islands, you can choose from tourist to luxury class hotels.  Transportation, accommodation in double or single rooms, some meals included (Ecuadorian menu), and a bilingual naturalist guide. If you are a single traveler it is possible to join the group tour and to stay in a private room upon a single charge. The highlights of this program are: San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, Española and  uninhabited island.

Itinerary

Day 1: San Cristobal Island/ Transfer in + Tijeretas & Carola Beach 

Stop At: Cerro Tijeretas, Port Baquerizo Moreno, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Ecuador
Pick-up at the airport by your certified guide. After lunch,  Option one.- visit the Interpretation Center, where the guide will talk to you about the formation, colonization, and situation of the islands. easy hike follows the trail to the Frigate bird hill, a viewpoint to have a beautiful view over the island. Snorkel the shallow waters of Tijeretas Bay

Day 2: San Cristobal / Lobos Island or kicker rock

Stop At: Isla Lobos, San Cristobal Island, Galapagos, 120506 Ecuador
Home to a large sea lion colony. But that’s not the only thing you’ll find while you’ll hike and snorkel at the island on this half day tour. Once here you could see blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas and frigate birds, while during snorkeling you can often see the marine iguanas, rays and turtles in the sandy bottom. This tour includes a stop at Playa Ochoa.

Stop At: Kicker Rock, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno Ecuador
Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido – sleeping Lion), a volcanic formation amid the ocean. There you will be able to snorkel with sharks, rays, turtles and if you are lucky also with hammerhead sharks! After lunch on the boat, you will go to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you will have time to relax.

Day 3: Española Island

Stop At: Malecon San Cristobal, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, 120506 Ecuador
Departure by boat to Española Island.  Visit Punta Suarez. Hike, looking for Nazca and blue-footed boobies. Lunch on board and then enjoy a snorkel session and look for tropical fishes, rays..back to San Cristobal port at the end of the afternoon. Please note: Albatrosses are not on the island from late December to the beginning of April approx. Still, you have a lot of wildlife to see).

Day 4: Transfer from San Cristobal to Santa Cruz Island/ El Chato + Charles Darwin Station

Stop At: Reserva El Chato, Isla Santa Cruz, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
El Chato is a natural reserve located in Santa Cruz’s highlands. This reserve is known as a roaming grounds for the Galapagos Giant tortoises, which cross the reserve on their permanent migrations from the coast to the highlands, making it one of the very few places where is possible to see these enigmatic animals in their natural habitat.

Stop At: Charles Darwin Research Station, Ave Charles Darwin, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
stop at Charles Darwin Station which is an international scientific research station situated on the outskirts of Puerto Ayora. You will be taken to the visitor center to learn about geology, climate, natural history and the conservation of the Galapagos Islands.

Day 5: Uninhabited Island

Stop At: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
The tour to Pinzon is a real adventure !!, once we get there you will enjoy a great volcanic landscape of Pinzón Island, we will swim and snorkel in a pristine environment, sea turtles of white tip reef sharks, sea lions, big parrotfishes, more than 45 minutes snorkeling to an hour enjoying it, then back on board and lunch, later on catch and release fishing along the way to a pristine sandy beach, there swimming and snorkel with sea turtles and marine iguanas observation, then back to town.

Day 6: Transfer to the airport

Stop At: North Seymour Island, Ecuador
