The 4-day safari is designated to travelers with a limited budget but wants to discover Senegal. The tour will take you through a game drive at Niokolo Koba Park, guided walk along Gambia River, and a lifetime Experience at the waterfalls in Dindefello.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dakar- Wassadou (Gate of Niokolo Koba Park)

Stop At: Wassadou, Senegal
Rise for a departure to Tambacounda with a stop at Mbour for breakfast. Then continue through the dense savannah with mounds to Tambacounda, a bush crossing town and a major railway stop before Mali. There will be lunch in a typical restaurant at Tambacounda. After lunch, head to Niokolo Koba National Park, reaching out at the wassadou hotel which is at the bank of Gambia River. Check at the hotel and Boat trip to observe the hippopotamus colonies (If the water level allows) or a guided walk along the river to watch the local flora and Fauna.

Day 2: Niokolo Koba Park- Kedougou

Stop At: Kedougou, Kedougou, Kedougou Region
Wake up early in the morning for a guided walk to Niokolo Koba Park in search of wild animals. Great chance to come across the panthers, lion, birds, Antelopes, various species of birds, Warthogs, Monkey, among others. After the guided game drive, grab something for lunch, followed by a departure to the village of Mako. You will have a walk along the river in search of the Hippos before heading out to Kedougou.

Day 3: Kedougou- Dindefello- Kedougou

Stop At: Dindefelo, Senegal
After breakfast, you will take 3-4 hours to walk back and forth to the village to discover the Bedik Ethnic group. Follow by a walk to Peuh village of Dindefello. At your details upon, walk through the path that will surprise you with its exuberance and small streams to reach the waterfall. Its’ cascades from a height of 80m in a basin that gives a chance for swimming. Picnic at the foot of the waterfall. At late noon leave with regrets the freshness of the place to join Kédougou.

Day 4: Kedougou – Dakar
