8 Days Sirubari Village Homestay Community Hike

Sirubari Village holds a beautiful settlement of Gurung community at Syangja district of Nepal, which is just a few hours drive from Pokhara. This village is amazingly blended with distinct and prosperous traditions with the rich in their hospitality and kindness.

An easy drive from Pokhara through the diverse landscapes, green ridges, and vibrant flowers leads us to Syangja district from where we take a 3-hours steep walk to Sirubari Village. Living with the typical Nepalese people for 3 days aims to give you the best insight into Nepalese culture and tradition where you can observe the day-to-day life of them. The accommodation in the village is simple and comfortable.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Stop At: Tribhuvan International Airport, Ring Rd, काठमाडौँ 44600, Nepal
Our representative will meet you on your arrival at the Airport and transfer you to the Hotel. An information session about the program will be conducted by our Tour Guide. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara

Stop At: Pokhara Lakeside, Lakeside Rd, Pokhara 33700 Nepal
On this day we have our breakfast by 6:00 a.m. in the morning and head towards tourist Bus Park at Thamel and board a tourist bus to Pokhara. The bus ride will take around 7 hours through curvy roads of hilly terrain with a couple of breaks in between for snacks and lunch. The drive to Pokhara on one of the major highways is exhilarating with beautiful views of never leaving tributaries, lush green hills, and roadside settlements.

Day 3: Drive to Syangja district and trek to Sirubari. Welcome Lunch at Sirubari

Stop At: Sirubari, Nepal's First Model Tourism Village, 2P3X+6J3, Sworek 33801, Nepal
We take our ride from the city of lakes towards the Syangja district crossing lush green forests with blankets folds of vibrant flowers and rushing Ghatte Khola (river). You will be warmly welcomed by the Gurung people of Sirubari Village with a delicious Danau Lunch. Overnight we stay at Sirubari Homestay. Lunch, Breakfast, Dinner included.

Day 4: Sunrise Tour to Dahare Hills. Lunch with Local Family and Hike around

Stop At: Sirubari Homestay, 4QJ5+FV4, Panchamul 33800, Nepal
An early morning hike to Dahare viewpoint offers us the pleasant Himalayan sunrise view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. We come down and take a local lunch (dal bhat) with a local family. After lunch, we hike around the local community to observe the day-to-day lifestyle of local people. Overnight at Sirubari Homestay. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 5: Hike to Maidan Kharka and Thumro.

Stop At: Sirubari Homestay, 4QJ5+FV4, Panchamul 33800, Nepal
Today, we again wake up early to catch an amazing sunrise view from Maidan Kharka and Thumro Danda. From here, we can also observe the beautiful Himalayan sunrise view with blanket folds of floras and faunas residing at the hillside. We hike down to Sirubari Village and have lunch with a local family. We take a rest for a while and join a cultural show presented by local Gurung tribe of people. Overnight at Sirubari Homestay. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 6: Farewell at Village Gompa. Depart Pokhara through Seti Dobhan and Naudanda

Stop At: Pokhara Lakeside, Lakeside Rd, Pokhara 33700 Nepal
Today, we drive back to Pokhara from Sirubari Village through Gorge watching beautiful settlements at Naudanda.

Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
On this day we have our breakfast by 6:00 a.m. in the morning and get ready to head towards Kathmandu. The bus ride will take around 7 hours through curvy roads of hilly terrain with couple of breaks in between for snacks and lunch. Tracing the same way back we reach Kathmandu and we transfer you back at the hotel.
