It is made up of sedimentary rock that appears strikingly pink, and its rock formations are visible from a great distance. Travel by road, railway, or the Aeri de Montserrat cable car to the Santa Maria de Montserrat, a Benedictine abbey and home to the ‘black Madonna’ or Virgin of Montserrat. See the sanctuary, which is thought by some to be the location of the Holy Grail in Arthurian myth. At the end of the day your private guide will drop you off back at your hotel or port.
