8 days Spectacular Tanzania Northern Circuit Wildlife Safari Lodge

This Spectacular safari gives you the opportunity to live and discover Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti the endless and savage wildness of Tanzania as lived by the Masai people: the short and long grass plains in the south and east, the acacia Savanna in the central areas, the hilly and densely wooded areas in the north and the extensive woodland in the west. A variety of scenery which include the plains, lakes, hills and the rock outcrops called Kopjes, the Seronera Valley, the Western Corridor, and Lobo or northern Serengeti.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Arusha

Stop At: Arusha Tanzania, Arusha, Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met by our representative and be transfered to a hotel in Arusha for overnight on Bed & Breakfast.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: ARUSHA / TARANGIRE

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch in tented camp / lodge choosen. Afternoon game drive to admire the vast fauna and flora; Lesser kudu, eland, lion and Gerenuk which can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / tented camp

Day 3: TARANGIRE / NGORONGORO

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge / tented camp choosen. After lunch descend down the 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater exploring the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you might see the flamingoes and the open savanna where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp

Day 4: NGORONGORO / SERENGETI (VIA OLDUVAI GORGE)

Stop At: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch at the lodge / tented camp choosen. Afternoon game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti with a big chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp

Day 5: SERENGETI FULL DAY

Day 6: SERENGETI FULL DAY

Second full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp

Day 7: SERENGETI / LAKE MANYARA (VIA NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS)

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
Early morning game drive, back for late breakfast. Enjoy another mid morning game drive before departing towards Ngorongoro Highlands. Lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. Afternoon visit to the waterfalls before proceending to lake Manyara for Dinner and overnight in lodge / tented camp

After breakfast, morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingoes and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at a lodge / tented camp choosen before driving back to Arusha for your holiday extension or fly back home
