A Journey To The Southern Tip Of India

A 3 hour drive from Trivandrum,or Kovalam beach,through the smaller towns and villages of Kerala and Tamilnadu states to visit the Land's End of  India's main land. enroute visit the historic woodden palace at Padmanabhapuram. Later visit Kanyakumari,and do a ferry ride through Bay of Bengal to the famous Vivekananda rock, mahatma Gandhi memorium etc. return back to Trivandrum.

One of the existing largest wooden palace complexes in the world. It was the capital of the erstwhile Travancore maharajs of South Keralam.

A memorium built on huge rock in Bay of Bengal , visited by a short ferry from the main land. Also it is a holi place for Hindus. Also can see the Thiruvalluvar statue from here
